Visas
A valid passport is required for all visitors to Somaliland, the expiry date of which should be at least six months after you expect to end your travels. All tourists must also arrange a Somaliland visa (emphatically not the same thing as a Somali visa). One can get an arrival Visa (VOA) at the airport or at the border. For visitors from Europe, Canada, USA, Brazil, China, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Members of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) such as Saudi, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and IGAD Region Countries, getting visa on arrival is the easiest way by just filling out a form at the airport, and paying $60 USD per person visa fee + arrival tax. At the Somaliland Liaison Office in your country if available, you can also arrange your visa in advance. Somaliland has offices in the United Kingdom, Djibouti, and Ethiopia.
